The Imagine! Program—in its 16th year of enriching the lives of Hamilton County students—is underway with a fantastic lineup of arts experiences!

We’ve added an exciting new component to our 4th-grade field trips this year: a partnership with Scenic City Clay Arts (SCCA). This special in-classroom experience introduces students to the tactile fun of clay and the science behind ceramics. Students learn about the process clay undergoes and practice key scientific vocabulary as they create their very own pots. SCCA then takes the pieces for professional glazing and firing, turning them into beautiful, lasting ceramic wares. Kids not only love the hands-on creation but also learn the value of patience while waiting for their fired, finished art to return.

Our program thrives thanks to the unwavering support of our arts partners: Creative Discovery Museum, Chattanooga Theatre Centre, Chattanooga Ballet, Chattanooga Symphony & Orchestra, Hunter Museum of American Art, and Sculpture Fields.
