ArtsBuild’s newest program, Culture Works, is designed to celebrate local businesses who engaged with the arts community. Launched during Arts Week 2026, Culture Works marks a significant shift in how the local private sector engages with the creative economy, moving beyond traditional one-off sponsorships toward a sustainable, integrated partnership model.

We launched the program with a press conference at Verre Noir alongside our program partners, Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, River City Company, and the City of Chattanooga’s Office of Arts, Culture & Creative Economy. Business owner Becca Coleman said, “For us, the arts aren’t just an addition to our business. They are part of the fabric of why we chose to open our shop in Chattanooga.”
The Culture Works program focuses on three core ways the for-profit business sector supports the arts sector: direct investment, space and visibility, and employment and advocacy.
Businesses interested in joining Culture Works can learn more and fill out a self-assessment form at artsbuild.com/culture-works.
