At ArtsBuild, we believe that advocacy is essential to sustaining and growing a vibrant arts community. That’s why we’re excited to share a new chapter in our ongoing advocacy work: the creation of a full-time, in-house Arts Impact Coordinator position.
This role reflects our deep commitment to strengthening the arts and culture sector—not only through funding and support, but through education, policy, and public engagement. The Arts Impact Coordinator will help us connect the dots between the arts, our community, and our elected officials. Their focus will include educating the public about the value of the arts, building relationships with decision-makers, and helping us dream big as we work toward securing a dedicated source of public funding for the arts in Chattanooga.
This new position also marks an important step in expanding the voice of the arts in local and regional conversations about economic development, education, tourism, and community well-being.
ArtsBuild’s advocacy efforts are for everyone—from artists and organizations to students, audiences, and neighborhoods. With the Arts Impact Coordinator on board, we’re better equipped than ever to champion the arts and ensure they remain a vital, visible part of Chattanooga’s future.
Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved.
