Chattanooga’s cultural and arts community is made up of a creative and diverse group of organizations whose collective mission is supporting art, cultural and historical experiences and education for the residents of and visitors to our community. ArtsBuild is proud to support 20 arts and cultural organizations in the greater Chattanooga area through the Mission Support Grant program:

Creative Discovery Museum
Stimulating the creative spirit and natural curiosity of every child, creating an excitement for learning through interactive exploration of the arts and sciences, fostering innovation and excellence as an educational resource, and supporting the cultural and economic vitality of the Chattanooga region.
Association for Visual Arts (AVA)
Dedicated to connecting visual arts and community in personal and experiential ways because we believe that art makes people and communities better.
East Lake Expression Engine
An after-school and summer music program serving underprivileged students in the Chattanooga community that seeks to develop the creativity, discipline, problem solving skills, social skills and spiritual maturity of its students through musical instruction and collaboration.
Positively impacting people of all ages, races, abilities, and economic levels through the art of ballet by providing professional quality performance and instruction.

Hunter Museum of American Art

Positively influencing and developing the lives of boys by providing a music program of the highest quality which includes education, appreciation, and performance.
Sculpture Fields at Montague Park
Creating and maintaining a sculpture park in Chattanooga, Tennessee of the highest quality, international scope and of lasting value and benefit to the City and the region, as well as establishing programming, benefiting the local, regional arts establishment as well as the education community at all levels and the citizenry at large.
